An Elegant Dinner Dance Celebration of 20 Years of Musical Excellence

The Cumberland Valley School of Music will celebrate its 20th Anniversary in style on Saturday, February 20, with a very special “Happy Birthday Celebration” Elegant Dinner Dance & Auction. The event will start at 6:00 pm at the Chambersburg Country Club and will feature an exquisite five course dinner that includes wines specially paired with each course, a large silent auction, a raffle of a fine piece of jewelry, and live music for dancing from The Holders. Wine, beer, and soft drinks are complimentary with the meal. A full cash bar will also be available. Tickets are $85 per person. The event is made possible with generous support from F&M Trust.
The menu will include:
Hors d’oeuvre and champagne welcome
Smoked salmon with onion, egg, capers and sour cream
Pumpkin Bisque
Raspberry sorbet
Beef Wellington and Herb Grilled Shrimp with Roquefort mushroom duxelles and port wine reduction
Asparagus bundles and creamy risotto pilaf
Chocolate mint or orange creamsicle crème brûlée
A vegetarian meal option is also available if requested in advance.
The auction will include more than 50 wonderful items, including vacation trips, special dinners, lodging at hotels, golf packages, music performances by professional musicians, paintings, gift baskets, gift certificates for dinners at area restaurants, and many other fine items.
The raffle items will be one 14 karat white and yellow gold diamond pendant, containing .50ct. of full-cut diamonds and a retail value of $1,250, donated by Ludwigs Jewelers, Inc.
The CVSM Dinner Dance & Auction is made possible with generous support from F&M Trust, and all proceeds from the benefit the Cumberland Valley School of Music, a non-profit member of the National Guild of Community Schools of the Arts with locations in Chambersburg, Waynesboro, Mercersburg, and Hagerstown.
