NEW EMPLOYEE AT CVSM!

It is with great pleasure that we announce that Jan Sullivan Dockter has joined CVSM as Development & Communications Director.

Jan has worked in the non-profit realm for over 20 years, most recently as Executive Director of the Ministry of Money, a faith-based social justice organization in Washington, DC. She has worked primarily in financial development, communications (writing and editing for publications, graphic design, web site creation and maintenance), marketing, and nonprofit administration and has served in both professional and volunteer capacities for numerous human service and social justice organizations. Her work has taken her around the world, leading small groups of primarily North Americans to impoverished areas of India, Africa, South & Central America, and the Caribbean Islands. She continues her work with Georgetown University, leading a group of faculty and staff each year to Eastern Africa. She has two nearly grown children -- Kate, 20, who attends the Gettysburg campus of Harrisburg Area Community College, and Sam,18, who is a freshman at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. Jan's passions are writing, reading, listening to music, spending time with her children, watching movies, traveling abroad, and exploring European art museums.
